Only in America—top ten

1) Only in America could politicians talk about the greed of the rich
at a $35,000 a plate campaign fund raising event.

2) Only in America could people claim that the government still
discriminates against black Americans when we have a black President,
a black Attorney General, and roughly 18% of the federal workforce is
black. 12% of the population is black.

3) Only in America could we have had the two people most responsible
for our tax code, Timothy Geithner, the head of the Treasury
Department and Charles Rangel who once ran the Ways and Means
Committee, BOTH turn out to be tax cheats who are in favor of higher
taxes.

4) Only in America can we have terrorists kill people in the name of
Allah and have the media primarily react by fretting that Muslims
might be harmed by the backlash.

5) Only in America would we make people who want to legally become
American citizens wait for years in their home countries and pay tens
of thousands of dollars for the privilege while we discuss letting
anyone who sneaks into the country illegally just become American
citizens.

6) Only in America could the people who believe in balancing the
budget and sticking by the country’s Constitution be thought of as
“extremists.”

7) Only in America could you need to present a driver’s license to
cash a check or buy alcohol, but not to vote.

Only in America could people demand the government investigate
whether oil companies are gouging the public because the price of gas
went up when the return on equity invested in a major U.S. oil company
(Marathon Oil) is less than half of a company making tennis shoes
(Nike).

9) Only in America could the government collect more tax dollars from
the people than any nation in recorded history, still spend a trillion
dollars more than it has per year for total spending of $7 million PER
MINUTE, and complain that it doesn’t have nearly enough money.

10) Only in America could the rich people who pay 86% of all income
taxes be accused of not paying their “fair share” by people who don’t
pay any income taxes at all.

       Columnist Andrew McCarthy gives us what probably is the most important question regarding the upcoming presidential election….
       “…..if Mitt wins the nomination, as seems very likely, I will enthusiastically support his candidacy. For my friends who have hesitation on that score, I’d just ask you to keep four things in mind:
         1.. Justice Scalia just turned 78
         2.. Justice Kennedy will turn 78 later this year
         3.. Justice Breyer will be 76 in August
         4.. Justice Ginsburg turned 81 about a week ago.     

We wish them all well, of course, but the brute fact is that whoever we elect as president in November is almost certainly going to choose at least one and maybe more new members of the Supreme Court — in addition to hundreds of other life-tenured federal judges, all of whom will be making momentous decisions about our lives for decades to come.
If you don’t think it matters whether the guy making those calls is Mitt Romney or Barack Obama, I think you’re smokin’ something funky…
       So for anybody who is thinking of not voting because your favorite didn’t get nominated, or writing in a candidate who can’t win… Imagine this:

SUPREME COURT JUSTICE ERIC HOLDER

Under  Sharia law, which is the law of Islam, a woman is an object, a possession.

Make no mistake! That is where Obama is headed. He has to be….just like he bowed to the foreign sheiks.

While the tyrannical pronouncement went largely unreported by the Obama-media, Barack Obama declared himself de-facto dictator of the United States of America on Wednesday, possibly signaling the end of the United States as we know it.

In what can only be described as a blatant, totalitarian and authoritarian abuse of power, Barack Obama, decreed that Richard Cordray would be the head of his so-called Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and he made his declaration without the advice and consent of the Senate, and, by doing so, he clearly violated Article 2, Section 2 of the United States Constitution.

But do not be deceived, the Cordray decree is not just another run of the mill Obama abuse of power.

Through this seemingly insignificant but illegal act of defiance, Barack Obama stopped sticking his toe in the water and finally took the plunge and declared Congress irrelevant, and as long as Congress accepts its newly decreed irrelevance, nothing stands in Barack Obama’s way. That’s how tyrannies start!

We can’t allow that to happen.  The disease that is the Obama administration must be stopped and IMPEACHMENT is the only cure!

Easy answer.YES!

Is Pelosi Really That Stupid?

Earlier this week, Representative (and former Speaker) Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) ventured out of her protective radical leftist cocoon and went on to The Daily Show to chat with Jon Stewart. She probably thought it would be safe, but she forgot that every now and then Stewart suddenly has these urges to show he’s not 100% in the tank for the left. This time, he asked Pelosi a very simple question that she should have expected: why did the House, in her last two years of control, not even try to pass a federal budget?

 Pelosi’s answer was so stunningly stupid and wrong, it needs to be scrutinized in depth.“Because the Republicans would have filibustered.” Six simple words. Two of them are four-syllable words, but still a very simple sentence. And just how is it wrong?)

1)Pelosi was the Speaker of a House controlled by the Democrats, who also held the Senate. They were the solid majority. But here Pelosi says that she was checked because a potential threat from the minority kept her from even trying. There was no filibuster, because no budget was ever introduced. There was not even a threat to filibuster (see below), but because she believed that there would be, she neglected what is arguably the single most important duty of the House — to craft and pass a budget for the federal government.

2) Remember how I said there was no threat to filibuster? That’s because it can’t happen. Under House and Senate rules, budget bills can not be filibustered. They must be brought to a vote, and pass on a simple majority. That’s a simple fact.

3) OK, now I feel like I’m just piling on, but I have to. Here’s another reason why I can say so authoritatively state that there was no threat to filibuster the budget in the House. And that’s because filibusters are forbidden in the House. Debate can be cut off at any time by a simple majority vote, and any bill — including budgets — are passed by the same simple majority vote. And Pelosi had a solid majority during her entire tenure (can you imagine Pelosi being elected anything besides bathroom monitor by a Republican majority?), so there was absolutely no excuse for her not having the House pass a budget.
The question posed here is about Pelosi: Is she so stupid that she actually believes what she said to Stewart, or is she so arrogant that she thinks that if she simply pronounces something, no one will question her? In Pelosi’s case, I find it incredibly easy to answer: BOTH. Remember, this is the woman who was, for four years, in charge of one half of an entire branch of the federal government and was second in line for the presidency. Further, she fully expects to resume that position should the House return to the Democrats. Keep that in mind, folks. And remember that every vote for a Democratic Representative is a vote to put Nancy Pelosi back in as Speaker.

If you think we’re in trouble now, you ain’t seen nothing yet.

We are losing our freedom of religion as well as our economy with this man as President and the current politicians in office now. We have to take action to change this, if possible.

need I say more about this person below other than there is no character, no integrity

I bought and read Obama’s book, Audacity of Hope. It was difficult to read considering his
attitude toward us and everything American. Let me add a phrase he used to describe his
attitude toward whites.

He harbors a “COIL OF RAGE”. His words not mine.

“Any president whose actions so consistently refute his own words must have deep contempt for the intelligence of the American public.”

The Obama administration told U.S. owned Hawker Beechcraft earlier this week they are being excluded from bidding on the US Air Force contract for a light attack aircraft. That leaves Brazilian owned Embraer as the likely recipient of the lucrative deal. I found this one hard to believe so I did a little research. It was tough because this was completely ignored by the main stream media The information is out there on several conservative sites. Please see the two articles linked below.

This is a double slap in the face of the United States . At a time when jobs, the economy, and security are the most critical priorities for our country, the Obama administration decides to send a defense contract to a foreign owned company.

This has to be the stupidest thing this administration has done to date. This is not just a dumb decision, it is a perfect example of why this president is such a poor leader. He talks about wanting jobs. He says we need to force companies to repatriate billions of dollars that Americans keep overseas. He wants to raise taxes so he can spend billions on stimulus that does nothing to stimulate anything.

And when it’s time to act, he sends our tax dollars overseas at the expense of American jobs and income for an American company. This is nothing more than a Chicago-style political pay back; but this time it is at the expense of our national security.

How much more damage will Obama be allowed to do in the months ahead? One of the lead stories in the media this week blasted congress for insider trading. If this contract goes to Embraer it will be a huge pay off to another George Soros company.

When will the 4th estate do it’s constitutionally protected job and expose the real Obama to the American people?
